rFactor  is one of the most-realistic racing simulators on the market, designed with the ability to run any type of four-wheeled vehicle from street cars to open wheel cars of any era. It features many technical advances in tire modelling, complex aerodynamics and a 15 degrees of freedom physics engine.

rFactor was developed by Image Space Incorporated (ISI), which has been developing simulators since the early 1990s for both commercial and military purposes. The rFactor-Pro version of the software is used by  seven Formula one teams and offers vehicle dynamicists and racing teams improvements to both productivity and performance in areas of engineering development, setup evaluation and driver training, while saving costs through virtualised testing.
